Step outside

Our garden is the heart of home.

Most care homes have a small patio. We have a massive backyard, and our residents enjoy it every single day.

Dozens

of rose bushes in every color

Pink, red, yellow, coral and cream roses line the front walk and the yard. Residents who love to garden help prune and cut fresh flowers for the dining table. Others simply enjoy the color and the fragrance from a sunny chair.

Vegetable gardens

Raised beds grow tomatoes, herbs and seasonal greens. Residents plant, water and harvest, and some of what we grow ends up on their plates.

Good questions

Things families often ask.

What is an RCFE?

A Residential Care Facility for the Elderly is a licensed home in California for adults 60 and older who need help with daily activities but not round-the-clock nursing. RCFEs are licensed and inspected by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.

How does the deposit work?

We are now accepting deposits to reserve rooms. Call or text (310) 210-0549 and we will explain the deposit amount, what it holds, and the next steps toward move-in.

What is the difference between a private and a shared room?

A private room is for one resident. A shared room is for two residents and costs less. Both include the same care, meals, housekeeping, and full use of the home and garden.

Can residents really help in the garden?

Yes! Residents who enjoy it help with the vegetable beds and the roses as their abilities allow. Others just like sitting outside. Nobody has to take part.

Can family visit?

Of course. Families are always welcome, and the garden is everyone's favorite spot for a visit.
